Explorer Programme

Our Explorer Programme really starts to stretch and challenge children. It is aimed at years 5 and 6 and is perfect for helping raise self esteem, confidence building and developing some team and leadership skills. The activities programme gives children the opportunity to overcome fears - everyone will have the opportunity to be successful at something and to build on their learning experiences.

This programme will encourage independence and a sense of personal responsibility for children about to make the shift to a new key stage or move to a new school. Our residential can be used as pupils’ reward for working hard and to celebrate their time together at primary school.

Residential experiences help to build resilience and determination and our Explorer Programme can also build on prior learning including practical skills from a previous residential or the Forest School Programme.
