Youth Development Programmes
The Humphrey Head team has a well established history or working with youth development organisations to deliver a wide range of activities, learning journeys, and residential experiences. Please see below some examples of our previous youth provision.
Youth Development Residentials
For many years, we have worked with organisations such as National Citizenship Scheme, and The Princes Trust, to provide the residential aspect of their youth development programmes. With a well developed strategy to build independence and effective relationships over the course, groups leave better able to adapt to the coming challenges, ask for support, and respond to the needs of others.
Humphrey Head is an excellent venue for groups of this type, with a beautiful remote location and exclusive use for the duration of the course, making it much easier to manage than at residential centres within towns, or where you need to share with other groups.
Holiday Activity Programmes
As well as on-site residentials, we offer support for a range of holiday activity camps, including providing adventure activities for local youth groups, activity days for both local families and visiting groups, and most recently holiday activity programmes linked in with the UK government to support children recieving free school meals during the holidays.
Duke of Edinburgh Award
We have many years’ experience providing training, expedition support, and assessment, for the Duke of Edinburgh Award. With a great range of training and expedition venues within easy reach Bronze, Silver and Gold can all be delivered locally.
Whatever it is your school or youth group needs to support your DofE programme, we have a range of options available, from providing qualified mountain leaders to oversee your expeditions, to delivering full residential programmes to cover every aspect from skills development to final delivery.
